New Year is a great time to practise using the structure "Voy a + the infinitive". The Español Extra site provides a great opportunity to do this, first with the phrase and when you have learnt them all, see if you can do them with only the images. You could then record your voice doing this.

This is a fantastic resource which has been brought to my attention by Jane Croft. I am very grateful and I know our pupils could benefit enormously from this. An excellent resource for developing cultural knowledge of Spanish-speaking countries, as well as reading and listening skills.

Prohibido fumar en bares y restaurantes en España desde el 2 de enero

Spain's Minister of Health, Leire Pajín confirms that the new anti-smoking laws are being adhered to and anyone breaking them can be reported.
